- Have you made a claim?No
Ive had my dog insured with sainsburys since 2004 when he was a puppy. The first year cost me just under ten pounds which increased slightly each year, which you would expect however last year it went to seventeen pound odd and just received latest increase which is now not far off thirty pound. Ive rung the customer service line and told yet again its because of breed/age/location of dog. I wouldnt mind a small increase every now and then but with currant times I just can't afford this and I feel I am unable to change as he has had a heart slight heart murmar discovered so if I change now I will be unable to claim for this condition in the future. I have always been a responsible pet owner but I starting to understand why some people just dont bother.I feel I'm in a catch twenty two situation.I DO NOT RECOMMEND SAINSBURYS ! Yes the policy does sound good but they fail to tell you that with each birthday your pet celebrates they will kindly INCREASE the premiums.I wish I had seen this web site sooner as reading through the reviews its quite clear that Im not the only one in this situation. I would just like to had I gave Sainsbury an overall rating of 0 stars but would not allow me to do so !
