For day to day use the Humax is perfect, it is stylish, well designed and won't look out of place in your living room. I use this machine everyday with no problems, however you must ensure it has at least 2cm of clearance from the surface it's sitting on as the cooling fan is on the bottom and it will overheat. Also, if you are planning to save movies or tv programmes (to PC or DVD disks) be prepared to search online for solutions as Humax have made it difficult for users to do this.

I cannot speak highly enough about this product, but if you are looking for more "tech spec stuff" then opt for the equivalent Topfield box.
