I saved for 3 months to surprise my husband with a first class upgrade for our flight to cancun. once we boarded, we were told they no longer offer pillows, blankets or champagne. the attendants were the rudest we have EVER encountered! when it came time to eat, we were offered cheerios and a banana because they only had 11 "hot" breakfast dishes and we were the 13th and 14th passengers in 1st class. i was told that the next time, i should pick a seat closer to the front of the plane. REALLY? we received the exact same meal that coach passengers were offered ..... we basically flew coach in a really big seat. it sucked - plain and simple. continental? NEVER AGAIN!!!!!
