Just returned from a week at trelawne manor. Had a great time, lovely clean site, stayed in a bluebell apartment which was good value, slight downsides were that it was quite damp, some walls had damp/mould patches and the shower was a bit temperamental! Other than that it was brilliant. I would hardly call it a big lively site, more big and quiet. Didn't really see much of the entertainment but the bingo was top notch (fairly priced and good prizes)!! The shop was pretty usless to be fair only really sold overpriced essentials, and that was whenever it was open, same too with the 'cafe' as you couldnt really call it a restaurant, it was only open 3 hours a day (6pm-9pm). It's a really pretty site but an ideal base to 'get your head down' if your planning a lot of sightseeing, this is how we used it and it was excellent!
