I used Boots "Spiced conker"semi permanent, and I have to say it is not orange at all,but a really lovely rich natural auburn,even over my white/grey! But, Be ye warned,it is a NEW CONCOCTION (which probably explains why it is giving a much better colour and cover),but it DOES now contain Peroxide and PPDs.I'm allergic to some dyes so was worried silly after applying it, but this(as with the old version)I am fine with(well I'm sat here writing this 7 hours later),and no nasty itching or smarting,or worse!yet!
