I use a couple of VOIP and Skype is the worse one.
I talk for hours to the US from the UK and free calls would seem to be the answer.
I have used Skype with a USB phone, a belkin wireless phone, Nokia N95 with Fring, Iskoot, Iskoot for 3 and a usb to PTSN adapter. In all spending quite a bit of money to get the right service.
With every method I try the call quality is not acceptable and thats using 6 or 10mb broadband with nothing else running.
Other services, mainly Sipgate, using the Nokia N95 built in client give as good as or even better than mobile phone call quality and its cheap.
