I bought an Asus 24" monitor for a great price from Pixmania. Delivery was on time, butI noticed some marks on the display panel under the outer surface. Oh no! so I went to the website and had to go through an awkward returns process that had me going round in circles for a while. Eventually I got round to sending the monitor back to France. Over a week later I got an email saying they could not repair the monitor as they 'found evidence of improper use that was eventually the cause of the breakdown.' That was rubbish as there was no improper use (I cleaned the monitor) and there was no breakdown. I replied to James Felix's email but he never answered.
I phoned them and got through very quickly to a very helpful Eastern European girl who listened to me and got onto head office for me. I went to this website to see what kind of reviews Pixmania were getting and I was shocked at how bad some were. I got the mediator's email address from one of the reviews as it wasn't on the website. I sent her an email telling her of my frustrating experience with James Felix and she apologised and got on the case very promptly. Within a week I got a new monitor and I am delighted with it.
I would have given Pixmania zero out of ten, because James Felix was such an idiot. But because of the mediator, Alice Walker I will give them 7/10.
