Refund promised but never issued. This seems to happen frequently with uksoccershop. What I did and what can I recommend:

Ask your credit card company for a charge-back, don't wait too long.

Inform "Trading Standards" about your experience. This is the law enforcement body. Visit http://www.southlanarkshire.gov.uk/ and search for "consumer enquiries"

By the way I tried the phone number published on their website few times. Nobody ever picked up that phone.

    I would like to point out that by asking your credit card company for a charge back when you are not legally entitled to one, leaves you open to being pursued for breach of contract by the business and fraud by the police. This method should be considered carefully!

    Also, wish to point out that the telephone number that's not being answered is the business' and not South Lanarkshire Council's?

    I confirm about the phone number, it is the number from the business, which was never answered.

    The charge-back should usually not be a problem, when showing the initial promise from the shop to refund for items not delivered or wrong size items etc.

    Credit card companies sometimes have insurance for the buyer, they refund anyhow, if a problem is reported and seems plausible. With a rating "very bad" for uksoccershop on reviewcenter.com or trustpilot.co.uk this is the case in my opinion.

    Some buyers however wait too long, hoping uksoccershop will solve the issue. In my case (Switzerland) 3 months was too long. Better act, taht puts the shop in the driverseat to proof they delivered what was sold.
