I don't know why 3 have got such a bad rating?.
I'm not saying they are the best but there not terrible.
Signal coverage is not bad, in my opinion its average. In normal to good signal areas the quality of calls and internet are good. Its 3g coverage that is hit and miss, but this is getting better as more phones now are using 3g.
I have been with 3 twice now, once around 2004-5 and now 2009. There customer service seam good, i only had to call once and they were very polite, they rang back up to see if things were ok.
Value for money is good there packages are ok, and there phones often have more features than more expensive mobiles. 3 mobiles are are 1, cheap 2, well built and suffer from no more or less problems than other phones.
They even offer free skype calls on some of there phones.
