my female friend and i both in our late 40's were asked to leave by the extremely rude and unpleasant owner. This was because we chose to share a mezze at £9.50, when we requested more starters he told us to get out of his restaurant! The place was empty, it was 7 pm on a wet friday night. We told him if he needed the table that he could have asked us less impolitely but he chose to rant at us. He clearly has issues with women and those of a certain age. As for the food it was the worst mezze i have eaten and not good value. It included 2 cold chips and 1 miserable pitta from a supermarket, a tiny bowl of cracked wheat, 2 tiny flat, greasy feta pastries, 2 minature stuffed vine leaves and the obligatory dollop of houmus. We would have left spending £20 or so which isn't to be sniffed at during a credit crunch but this man ruined what could have been a pleasant evening despite the poor and mean serving. Anger management is called for . Beware all female diners!
