I did a lot of searching of the web to try find out about where to get the best deal on the Canon camera. Camerabox certainly had the most attractive price and so I placed an order on Friday evening. An automated email was promptly returned confirming the order. However, over the weekend and Monday and then Tuesday I heard nothing further. I called the telephone number on the website and had to leave a message on the voice mail service. I am still waiting for a return call. I have sent a couple of emails requesting further information about my order. The money was debited from my account 5 days after placing the order with no further email notification. Subsequently I have received an email from my bank telling me that my bank card has been compromised and that a transfer of over £500 has been placed. My bank confirmed that the site requests card details not normally required for online purchases. The combination of card number, sort code, account number and security code allows access your funds and reset security passwords. I am now waiting for emails from Camerabox, a £500+ debit on my account and the camera. I will update my review once I receive those...
