13 Oct 09: Arrived in early evening; nice atmosphere, clean premises, view of the estuary; reviewed entire menu.

Ordered medium done sirloin steak with Diane sauce and a side order of home made garlic bread, followed by fudge chocolate cake and a hot liqueur drink.

Steak was chewy (bordering on tough) with gristle; garlic bread had slight aroma of plastic which was off-putting, cake was so, so, hot drink was mildly warm.

Left after 7 p.m. and within 1 hour had 2 bob bits into the early a.m. the next morning.

Staff were all friendly, courteous and efficient - too bad the quality of the food did not match. Nice place for a drink or two, but would not return to eat.
