I have also been duped by Experian (CreditExpert.co.uk). I completed the online application and had to wait over a week for my activation PIN, without this you can't access your score/details. I phoned to cancel my subscription 30 days after I'd activated my account but then discovered they had taken £6.99 from my account !
I have called them but they say the 30 FREE trial period starts from the day you fill in the online form, even though you can't view anything until you've activated it !!
This company are exactly the sort of crooks people are trying to avoid by checking their credit reports.
