Bought bush tv 18months ago. Broke down. Took back to argos and quoted "Article 5 of the EU Product Warranty Directive (1999/44/EC)" which states "A 2year guarantee applies for the sale of all consumer goods everywhere in the EU"
Argos gave me the full £300 that I paid for the tv. Well done Argos!
