PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE YOU CONSIDER BUYING A CAR FROM CAR GIANT.

My experience began when i contacted car giant about an Audi A6 i had seen on the internet. They sounded very professional and polite on the phone.
I informed them that i was going to fly from dublin the following morning to view and hopefully purchase a car. They agreed to reserve the car for me as i was travelling from Dublin(This also seemed very helpful.

On arrival the following morning i was informed that the car had been sold to a different customer. No apology was offered.The price of this car was £9299. They then proceeded to show me a variety of different A6 cars.
Although i was extremely dissapointed i agreed to consider a different car.
I viewed a newer model and agreed to pay £11699. I informed car giant that i had a bank draft for £9000 plus £1000 cash. Therefore i would have to use a credit card for the extra £1699.
I was then told that they did not accept credit cards as company policy which i thought was ridiculous for a company the size of car giant never mind the fact that i had travelled from dublin.I managed to get another fivE hundred pounds cash but still they would not accomodate me with the credit card although they do have a credit card facility on site .
They then tried to sell me a cheaper car. Not the car i was looking for but again i agreed to test drive this one. When i tried to start the car the engine warning light came on, the coolant light came on ,the electric windows didnt work and one of the tyres was flat,So much for thier 114 point service check, Doesnt exist.
They then told me that they would have the car ready for 3.30 that day but informed me that they do not offer any warranty because the car was going to ireland.On hearing this i decided to cut my losses and book a return flight to dublin.
The only reason i have given them one star is because you cant seem to be able to give zero stars!
