Fully comp + Euro recovery, But still left my family stranded at M25 recovery depot on Saturday night! No customer service out of office hours!

Following a minor collision in roadworks on M25 on Saturday night, called More Than help line to report accident, but found they don't work outside office hours (M-F 9-5). Recovery service only available, but as car was already recoved by roadworks company for free to their depot, they would not come and collect it. Also, they would not offer any assistance to us to continue our journey. In fact they suggested public transport.
This is despite the policy wording promising courtesy car, hotel, "we won't leave you stranded" etc.
First call tomorrow (Mon 9am) is to Insurance Ombudsman and customer complaints.
