Ruger Air Hawk/Trouble right out of the box/would not group/was cleaned before sight in/ Done from bench rest with different types of pellets none grouped/ Sent it back to Umarex for repair. I did not have sales receipt so had to pay for repair/ They admitted it was a factory defect also had screw missing /Not good customer relations/Got it back with new barrel and trigger group/Cleaned and set up for sight in from rifle rest/ still will not group all over and some not even on target /So far gun has been junk
his gives ruger a bad Rap for sure because Ruger is a great old gun company
Umarex is a hassle to deal with.
got a Crosman Phantom 177./ Cleaned and sight in dime group @ 25 yards .Also have a benjamin 22 multi pump good shooter with open sights.
Stay away from the Ruger.
shoot often shoot safely share the sport
