I have been with PAWS pet insurance for 11 years and did not think the premiums had gone up excessively. Our cat developed a heart condition last October and they paid the first 4 claims without a query. The last claim they only paid half of because they said her tablets were for 2 seperate conditions. The vet confirmed with this claim they are not but they have returned the claim upaid saying they need a full medical history. When I asked why they said because their files only go back 6 weeks! I was not allowed to speak to anyone who rejected the claim. I have paid over £2,500 each year in insurance. I have claimed back so far around £300 and they obviously don't want to pay me anymore!
