Above ratings not quite right but needed to put something here about Ticketmaster's gift cards. I cannot understand how even with small print and legal text they can legally get away with issuing gift cards with a 12 month expiry. In my opinion they are stealing the original purchaser's (My parents) money by forcing the cards to expire even if they are unused and to charge a £20 refund fee to get the remainder of the balance back is further robbery. This makes for the most expensive piece of plastic in the world!! More so than diamond and gold when compared to weight.
I would have liked to have known the gift card never had an expiry date. And I'd like anybody out there who is knowledgeable about finance legality to tell me I am wrong to expect a full refund or card reactivation or agree and offer advice over how I can legally demand from ticketmaster that the balance be re-instated on the gift card at the very least. Thank you. Rant over for now.
