On 5 April I submitted a claim for blocked drain and flooding septic tank. By mid June no contact, told to contact 3rd party supplier - no accountablity, battled to get supplier on site from 9 July - 3 September. 18 Sept after numerous complaints handed to loss adjuster. 1st Oct loss adjuster phone to agree to pay. 13 Oct loss adjuster deny call, staff member has resigned. 16 Oct deny all knowledge after demanding to speak to supervisor and deny claim.Almost 6 months to deny claim, whilst summer has past, flooding now inevitable which they will now no doubt deny on the basis of this claim. Meantime increase our premium 60% based on NON CLAIM. Do not use Direct Line, this is the most appalling insurance service I have ever experienced.
