- Ease of use

Been with them for 15 years and pay a fair amount in each month. I to have just been told that they are ending the High Interest Current account. This means I loose out if in credit or using the overdraft. The only people who will gain are those who are constantly more than £2500 overdrawn. In their letter they didn't even suggest the ulimate reward account, just the basic current account. I am now moving banks. When my savings plan with Halifax ends in December I will move that out too and have nothing more to do wth them. Appaling is the only word that sums up their customer service and attitiude to long term customers. The bank I have moved to said that their branch alone has had 6 halifax customers moving to them this week - and that's just one branch of one bank!
