I insured with Quinn- Direct after finding them the cheapese car insurance on the compare websites. I got my car and insured on a provisional license as I was learning at the time. I paid for the insurance in full. However, 3 months down the line I have now passed my driving test & rang to inform them and they have put it up by £445 which is same as what I have already paid, so they have doubled it!! Plus, because I had paid the first part in full, I then had to pay the money up front in FULL in 10 days or they would cancel my policy! I have had to borrow money from everyone to pay this off as my pay day isnt til after the 10 days. The customer service when I rang up too was appalling. You cannot get any straight answers and I found the lady (called Kerry) that I spoke to, very rude! I will be cancelling after my yr is up!
