I'm today cancelling my policy with Quinn after 3 years with them. They are great until you're unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident.

I was unlucky enough to have a minor bump (we're talking really minor here, scuffed bumpers, cracked lights, and no injuries) the day after my policy renewed. Quinn had already sent out the new policy agreement with payments etc on it, but then tried to retrospectively recalculate it (*after* they had agreed to the original), and want to more than double my premium.

I've had quotes from other insurers, with the accident fully declared, which are only 100 or so dearer than the pre-accident amount I was paying with Quinn, so where they get off trying to add an extra 480 to my premium I really don't know, so bye bye Quinn!

The staff's attitudes are condescending and smack of 'We can do what we want, what're you gonna do about it?'.

Avoid.
