I remember the best times of my being life at Pontins Blackpool used to go with my Parents, Grandma and Cosuins and we loved every minute. I went back earlier this year with my own young family my wife and my two sons (6) and (2) we had an absolute great time my son still talks about it now 6 month later and thats just the 2 year old and the the older one cried when he found out it had closed he is still hoping for repreive. Don't get me wrong it had bad point chalets were the same as when I was a kid but we were never in them anyway entertainment was good old fashioned family fun bluecoats were great! Just wish I could take my kids again next year but as always yet another Great British tradition has been wiped out forever.
