The boxes (Thomson) are pants, repeatedly failing no matter how many times they are replaced, the customer service is ignorant, ill informed and ill mannered.
They laboured under the delusion that their boxes had a one year warranty (soon corrected by myself with reference to http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/rights/gen_rights_en .htm#gar).
Even when they did replace the box the replacements quickly developed the same (seemingly generic) defect. I honestly don't know how these people manage to stay in business. Do yourself a big favour and steer well clear.
Had I known before I signed up just what a pain the neck TopUp TV was going to be I know I would have given them a swerve!
