Very disapointing, when i purchased a brand new honda motorcycle, i recived free breakdown cover with the AA.
i had only ever herd good things about the AA, and never expected to need to call them out as the bike was brand new.
Well... when a nut on the exaust bracket came loose, i had to call them out. (because if i had tightened it myself i would void the warrenty). a man came out and was here within 30minuites, very please with this, however he was not a bike mechanic... even though they knew i had a motorbike. he came out and tightened the bolt with a racet..( not a tourque rachet), as he used a rachet he didnt realise how hard he was doing it uo and snapped the bolt off in the engine. and left me there roadside, after contacting the AA to conplain theyh told me the AA man who cam out had said it was snapped when he got there. so i asked them to recover the bike to my local honda dealer... 5 hours later without a call from them, after being given an eta of 1hr a man turned up and took my bike off.
i called up the AA after waiting 5 hours and didnt even get an appology. I WILL NEVER PAY FOR COVER WITH THIS COMPANY! i beleve they have got so big now they cannot cope with the amount of breakdowns occouring.
