I purchased the Neptune set (washer and dryer) for close to $2,000, thinking that I was purchasing two quality machines. My old $250 Kenmore was much better and lasted over 15 years!!

The Neptune washer has had similar problems as the others have stated (clothes are not coming clean, the towels have a sour odor and t-shirts stink after wearing them only an hour or so)!!

The LO code came up two months ago and it turned out to the the locking system in the lid. The parts of course were not covered under the warranty and it cost me $330 by the time the repairman left.

Now the same thing has happened and it has a full load of wash in it for the past four days waiting for a repairman to come. (He's due tomorrow).

I'm truly disappointed with this machine and will NEVER spend good money on something like this. Maytag is a real disappointment -- we all deserve a refund!!! Shame on you Maytag!!!!
