I thought I would sign up on their introductory offer but got this message from them "According to our records a free trial account has already been used at your specified delivery address with one of the DVD rental services powered by LOVEFiLM... A free trial is available to new DVD rental subscribers only. Existing subscribers, or those who have previously enjoyed a free trial period with any DVD rental service powered by LOVEFiLM or Video Island (including ScreenSelect), are not eligible and will be billed immediately."
I have never used their service before (it might have been another neighbour in my building), but anyway thought this a bit heavy handed "will be billed immediately"! So I got them to cancel my application. Looking through their catalogue, they have a pretty basic/pedestrin selection - especially if you are into the more obscure/art house/alternative, so a lucky escape really!
