My worst flying experience(and this coming from someone who has survived a flight on cubanair). 5 hour delay on takeoff (the pilots chair broke).Tiny seats(the RSPCA would prosecute any airline that attempted to transport animals like this).Inedible food.Expensive drinks. On the return journey I considered that we got off lightly with only a 1 1/2 hour delay(but no explanation or apology). The whole Monarch staff need educating in the basics of customer relations. It beggers belief, in the current economic climate, that any airline would treat its customers in such a cavalier manner.On this performance I fully expect that Monarch will be the next budjet/charter airline to go into receivership. They deserve to.
