I have not used New Zealand airline for a long while, recently flew with them again from LHR to HKG directly. Their services are comparable with other major airlines available in UK, but their prices are more reasonable. The plane was clean, the foods were tasty. They even served H agen-Dazs ice cream on board, what more could I ask?
If there was anything I dislike, was their arrival time in UK, something after 2pm a bit too late for people who have jetleg. The plane was half an hour late so I missed the coach I was meant to take. The next coach was an hour late then further delayed by traffic jam on M25, so by the time I arrived home in the evening, I was extremely sleepy. It would be so much better if they could make their schedule earlier for a couple of hours.
