I am moving house and the quality of my contact with Talktalk has been bad. At times it is diificult to understand what staff are saying beacause of heavy accents and poor English and information given to me has varied from person to person. What is really totally unacceptable is the time to transfer the existing service to a new home...7 to 14 days to get the phone operating and 2 to 4 weeks to get broadband operational. In addition it takes them around 7 days to shut down the existing service and they cannot give any guarantee as to when that will be done so if you want aa nice smooth transfer from one home to another dont expect it from Talktalk.
