I have had this fridge freezer the Hotpoint ff187e for 3 years but there is a sheet of ice under the bottom drawer of the freezer.I have chipped it out and after only a week there is another layer.I came across these reviews for this model and was surprised to see it is kind of the same.At least I have had mine longer.What a disappointment to say the least.Hotpoint always had a good name.To get an engineer would be a few pence under £100 and how much for a part if needed looks like it is a manufacturing fault.I would rather dump it if anything else happens and maybe get one from Iceland that would be cheaper and probably last longer.
I wont be buying any hotpoint products again
