beatleuk's Review of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic

I got the Nokia 5800 Express Music as an upgrade to my aging Nokia N80 and the fact that I could afford the £18 contract that it came with for free.

My first impressions of the phone were good and that it had a lot of features but the one thing I didn't like was being forced into Sky Sports and the obvious high internet browsing charges that would follow for streaming video to the phone. The cover keeps the screen well protected but if you dropped it the corners are exposed and you could damage the body of the phone here and it get a bit annoying after a while but with no other means to protect the screen be very careful of putting it in your pocket.

After a few months use the touch screen started showing signs of ware and tear where I had been typing text messages.

The music quality is good but I must admit that my iPod earphones sounded a lot better that the ones shipped with the phone.

This phone was stolen from me along with my work laptop and a very nice Laptop backpack so I am back to my aged N80 but won't be hurrying out for another 5800.
