We Will Rock You is a fantastic show: a mixture of great 80s rock classics and modern edgy styling, it captures the essence of Queen's music perfectly.

The storyline, although perhaps sparse in its actual structure, was perfect for a jukebox musical such as this: less talking, more belting!

Galileo, although perhaps a tad stereotypical in his 'loner destined for great things' portrayal, comes out of his shell to become a thoroughly entertaining character. Scaramouche has a wonderful voice and sharp one-liners, and the romance between her and 'Gazza' is intruiging though predictable.

Meat and Brit work fantastically as two comic relief characters in the show. They are a brilliant duo with some good songs, but unfortunately underused. Killer Queen (often with a loud booming vocal and sharp moves) coupled with her sidekick Khashoggi are a dynamite duo guarenteed to keep you entranced whilst they are onstage.

To top it all off, this musical is stunning visually, and a real treat for the ears. Although diehard Queen fans may find the slight change in lyrics and the musical-ish air of the songs 'a travesty', it is important to remember Brian May himself endorsed the musical... and so it must be great, right?
