bought my girlfriend a ring for her birthday - within 8 months the main stone in the ring had fallen out - took it to complain and was told it would need to be sent away for "quality control" - when asked what happens next we were told (by the manager who served us)that it would take 2 weeks to get an answer and that she was rushing it through as a priority, we asked what happened if they decided we had caused the damage and they said they used an external quality control company and that if they said it wasnt a manufacturer fault then they wont do a thing. the whole time she really didnt seem like she could be bothered to deal with us and seemed very eager to get rid of us. this is our local store so ive been in several times and they're always incredibly pushy to sell you things but very unhelpful if you have any problems or questions.

we also bought a pair or earrings recently for my mums birthday and she took them out of the box and one of them fell to pieces in her hand - we took it back and saw someone different and again - she seemed like she couldnt care less and told it would take 2 weeks for a response (no mention of it being priority so either she didnt mention it or the manager was just saying it to make us leave sooner) - 2 weeks later we went to ask what was happening and were told it would be back soon and they would call us when it arrived - both times we spoke to someone, although they didnt actually say it they implied "if you're not buying something we cant be bothered so leave now"

Will NEVER EVER be using H samuels again for anything!!! Bunch of con artists!!!
