PLEASE DON'T BE TAKEN IN LIKE I WAS......I purchased my sofa, arm chair and Fiji designer chair way back in February - it was delivered after 13 weeks - I was asked to sign a form before it was even brought in to the house - no mention of what it was for, I took it to be the delivery notice but after reading Betty Boop9 review I realise it was their disclaimer - the stitching to the sofa and chair had not been coloured, which meant it was a tan colour next to a chocolate brown so stuck out like a sore thumb and the designer chair had not been stitched up on both arms, had dents in the back where obviously pressure had been applied and the silver base was scratched - I rang customer services who did as promised get a leather specialist out to put the faults right - he dyed the stitching and advised the dents in the designer chair would come out with heat (they are still there) - he ordered a new base (another few weeks) then came back an fitted it but said he couldn't do anything with the arms of the chair....I rang customer service who said they would have to speak to their supervisor to see if I was entitled to a new chair...the cheek of it...I advised that goods "have to be fit for purpose" by law and this chair obviously wasn't .....they knew then they weren't dealing with a numpty..the impression I get from customer services is that all customers are numpties!.. another was ordered and I was to take delivery in August...surprise surprise a phone call the day before delivery..the chair was split and they would order yet another - I am expecting the third next week..watch this space...the way CSL work it will probably be the wrong colour!! I am not a serial complainer and believe in giving credit where credit is due but in this case I can only credit the salesperson for being friendly bubbly and polite but after all she was after a sale!
