MY Acer aspire was from acerdircet.com and it was a A2 ( this ment that it had minor cosmetic damage. But when the laptop arrived it was in perfect condition and i had to look long and hard for the scrates, The speed of the laptop is amazing (if you dont have any gadgets on your sidebar) but if you do it is a respectable speed that any stundent or even a busness computer. I would recomend for you to get the 4GB of RAM as this makes the computer faster. The one thing that i do not like about this coputer is the fact that it gets very hot very fast, if its on your legs or anywhere else, the only place where it stays cool is on a table. The other thing that i love about this laptop is that it has a number pad on the side of the keybourd (its also separtate) this is good if you are in a maths lesson and you need to solve a maths problem quickly
