Took insurancer out with Kwik Fit in December of Last year, cancelled policy end of March due to being deployed to Afghan for six months, while I was away I received a letter saying that I stilled owed an outstanding balance and if not paid within 7 days they would take it from my card details that they held. My mother phoned to explain that I was in Afghan so could'nt conatct them but if they told her what it was and how much she would settle it, they would'nt discuss this with my mother even though she was the one that phoned them to start the policy up in December, after a lengthy conversation they decided that my mother could pay it, but would'nt tell her what it was for or how much it was, how stupid. My mother told them put it in writing and she would take a look at it. 5 months later I get a letter from a debt collection agency for £214 no idea what this is for I have just returned 2 days ago from Afghan dont need this. I am disgusted with Kwik fit and will never use them again I will find out what this is about and pass it on to the insurance ombidman. Don't insurance yourself with this company.
