Compare the meerket / market schmarket, apart from the 'cute' and annoying ads on TV, this company is the absolute WORST for data protection (joke there guys and gals). I did take up car insurance with them through BISL based in Peterborough, a little over priced on balance but not having to shell out the entire year which Churchill asked me to do, made sense BUT you pay through the nose as they charge you a fee for spreading the payments, so next year i'll pay the whole lot up front. Customer service from BISL is appalling, they don't - apparently accept ANY emails, apart from one they give for proving no claims discounts, last time spoke to their call centre got some self serving idiot who thought he was the king of the call centre.

Last week did a search for home insurance and THAT's when the fun started, 3 calls a day from leadex, plus, conveniently about an hour later an 07033 number which is a premium rate scam number, after I did a search, coincidence, no, i do NOT think so, so this tells me two things, the rancid meerkat thinks that just because you've gone to the site it gives them the right to ride roughshod over DP laws, use, abuse and sell probably your mobile number to any second rate company from telesales to finance, i reckon that my number must be doing the rounds now. So next year I WON'T be comparing the meerkat, i'll be happily strangulating the little sob, and skinning it. The calls are annoying even if you don't pick up.

Watch out for the 07033 numbers as apparently they'll clock up 1.50 a minute while you're on hold ... on hold to hell, more like. In all honesty the range of insurers I had, for a 30 something safe driver was quite frankly carp, i picked the best of the worst ... will definitely not be going back next year, no way. Avoid the site and if you have to put a mobile number in use 07000 000000 ... let them waste THEIR time, not yours.
