I went with my daughter age 9 and son age 2 half board for 4 nights to Craig Tara Ayr. The accommodation was clean but very basic and very cold, two small heaters that don,t give out much heat. The swimming pool was fantastic great time there.
The food was poor and the kids didn,t even eat the chips.Other food outlets were fine though. The go-carts cost £5 for 4 mins,climbing wall £4.50 and the caterpillar ride £1.75 for 1 min all were timed with stop watches.
The shows at night were so-so but have to praise the staff as we had a fire drill and this was carried out brilliantly. We came home early and the kids didn,t complain about leaving would not go back ever.
