I bought a pair of leather 'Frank Sinatra' Brogue Shoes. I needed a comfortable, smart pair of shoes to wear whilst working over a ten day period. I purchased the shoes on 7th September, 09. Just last week I noticed my feet were getting very wet whilst walking in the rain, I also noticed the heels on the shoes were worn right down. I do not walk heavily and have never experienced this problem before. I rang customer services who gave me the impression that I would get an exchange on them. I took the shoes back today (9/10/09) and were told they are a fashion shoe and there is nothing that they can do. I feel for the money, that this is poor value. I really look after my shoes and do not normally pay this much for them but have never had this problem with other retailers shoes. Had they shown willing and exchanged the shoes for me I may have been inclined to go back and try them again. This was both a waste of money and a disappointing experience. Obviously I won't be going there again.
