I am so fed up with E&L. I have never had to claim to date, so can't comment on their ability to pay out or not, but I am absolutely sick to death of their constant adding things to your monthly premium - so much so that for one of my cats the cost of insuring it went up from £5.80 to just over £12 PER MONTH simply due to them adding on 'fantastic offers'. You have to contact them to get all this rubbish cancelled or it just goes ahead automatically, but I couldn't get through by phone and had to email them to get any result. Now I have found them deducting 94p a month by Direct Debit to something called The Animal Society, even though I have NEVER signed a DD for this. My bank have cancelled this but have said that E&L can present it again it might get paid again. Frankly, I'm finding E&L absolutely annoying and time wasting. I will cancel and go elsewhere, even though it will cost a bit more.
