Went to the CC store in Knightsbridge in October 2009 and before even starting to try on gowns, I was lectured for 5 minutes by a salesgirl saying I had to choose my dress that night. Very insistent I try on a veil even though I do not want to wear one. When I said I had appointments elsewhere and that I would have to think about whether I wanted to buy a CC dress, the salesgirl said that I could have 10% off the price but ONLY if I paid in full on the spot!! It was like buying a used car, not a wedding dress. Beautiful gowns, totally let down by poor service. Have told two friends getting married not even to bother going unless they are willing to put up with an aggressive sales pitch. Disappointing.
