No menu outside. Asked for a menu, ordered drinks (pint shandy plus glass wine - £8). Studied menu in bar, asked by waitress 'if we wanted to eat or not?' (exact words!). Shown to table (behind a pillar). Starter pate (nice) plus stuffed tomato (cold). Main Chicken in sauce with bacon. Wife's was undercooked and she complained, told chicken was poached (she insisted it was undercooked and left most of it). Mine was cooked but tasteless (left half of my meal). Constantly asked if we were 'OK for drinks, sir' but had to ask for the table candle to be lit. A frozen kiev from Aldi would have had more taste than what we ate. To be quite honest they did knock a starter of the bill, but the whole meal left a sour (or no) taste in our mouths
