Initially, I thought Bathstore was the best thing ever - looks expensive but cheap prices. Recommended to all my friends. Kitted out one shower room and one bathroom. First problem came when the alusatin feet for the bath didn't turn up. Was told they were discontinued and I would have to have some off the display bath. Several months later and they are still advertised on the website! Next, when I came to fit the bath, realised I didn't have a bath trap (hadn't actually ordered one so not their fault). Called up to order one. Told it would be £50. Wasn't asked anything about the bath but as he had brought up my order on the computer thought nothing of it. Didn't arrive when it was supposed to due to "insufficient address details" - my house is a big house, standing alone on a busy main road. The package had full address and postcode!
Arrived a week late - wrong trap. Called up. Told it was my fault for not specifying the right trap. Now have mess of white plastic under my freestanding bath.
To cap it all off, have just installed the shower tray, used shower twice and the white plastic top layer has started to separate from the hard resin base. Am a little irate to say the least. The tray has been bedded on concrete and tiled in so removing it will be a long, intensive process.
