My hubby filled our car with a full tank of diesel as we normally do from our Asda store in Trafford Park Manchester. All seemed fine, that is until my hubby went out that evening and had to be towed home as the car wouldnt start.
Our car was taken to a garage the next morning who advised there were large amounts of water in it. Its cost us over £200 to fix and we've lost £55 of diesel.
Called the Asda store who were extremely rude and obvisouly didnt care, she in not so many words called me a liar and they wouldnt do anything as I had been their only complaint.
Trading standards are now dealing with it, we have a sample of the diesel and you can see the water at the bottom of it.
We rang the Higher resolutions team at Asda head office who claim they have never recieved our letter of complaint which included all the copies of reciepts, which makes me laugh as Royal Mails tracking service suggests otherwise as we have a signiture!
Asda have said they will not do anything to help as we cant prove its their fault, and if we make this public or speak to anyone they will sue us for Liable!!!!
NEVER NEVER NEVER using Asda again for anything, and neither are any of our friends or family.
