First off, the value for money rating might be a little misleading here as Stylist is a free magazine. Published as the sister magazine to the every popular Shortlist, and distributed by street vendors every Wednesday at major commuter stations in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
I really enjoyed Stylist, it's about time a free magazine aimed at women was brought on to the market. Every week i watch as my husband enjoys Sport Magazine, Short list - and City AM! Finally now i have something too.
If i had to compare it to another magazine i would say it's fairly Grazia-ish. It's mostly a fashion and style magazine, with a couple of news stoires and interviews, the usual spread of book and film reviews, some travel features and a recipe. It's not huge, but it's enough for a short train journey, and perfect if you want a little distraction. I shall definitely be reading it again.
