i took out insurance with first central as they gave me the cheapest quote saving me about 100 pound, everything was fine until someone crashed into us, since then they have lost the car, lost all the documents i had sent to them, lost my tax disc the salvage company had sent them, denied having phone conversations with me, told us we would recieve 2000pound as the car was written off then decided we weren't gettin any of the money back as apparently we had filled in the insurance details wrong so the policy was cancelled. They did offer us an entire new policy to cover it but they would have to take the payment for the full policy out of our money they had already said they were going to send us. All in all they haven't got a clue what they are doing, it takes an average of 45mins for them to answer the phone, then anything they can't answer they tell you they will contact you which never happens. When I asked them to return my car as they weren't going to pay me they said "we can't give you what we haven't got, and if we did give it you back we would have to tell the police you were driving without insurance,so you would be prosecuted". they're a joke.
