************************* BEWARE WHEN BUYING GHD'S ON GOOGLE *******************

ANY WEBSITES THAT ARE SELLING FOR AROUND £35-£60 ARE SELLING FAKES ... GUARANTEED

I HAVE SPOKEN TO GHD AFTER MINE HAD BROKEN THEY HAVE NO WARRANTY AND DO NOT PERFORM THE SAME AND ARE UNSAFE AS THEY HAVE NO CE SAFETY CERTIFICATES.

SPEAK TO GHD AND YOUR LOCAL TRADING STANDARDS OFFICE AND THEY WILL BACK THIS UP.

Whenever you buy a GHD straightener off Google, you cannot rely on what the websites tell you.

I chose a website that said they are the 'real' GHD and that they had all the security that trusted websites have. Once I received my straightener i thought wow I got a GHD for £40 thinking that because it was coming direct from the factory that they where cheaper. Within 3 weeks my straighener had broken, and there was no phone number on the website so I thought try I'll go straight to GHD. However having spoke to them in depth about this problem they tell me that the price is the same all over the world and that is why it is only sold in salons so they can keep the high price and that you cannot even buy a GHD trade for less £75 !!!! So I was £40 down with a broken straightener that no one would replace.

They said you should ALWAYS, ALWAYS check you site before you purchase, and what you find is that EVERY site offering them 'direct frmo factory' or 'tax free' is in fact a fake, just like the problems with UGG boots. There are lots of info on the web make sure you check this before you purchase.

I found this review very helpful because...I had doubts about how cheap these ghd's where like when I tried to buy my ugg boots online. And having looked into it you are right ALL of the websites selling the GHD's for cheap (around £38-£58) are fakes and I confirmed this by checking on GHD's website and putting in the website checker the details of the site which says they are fake !!
