You gotta drive the VW Golf Mk1 GTI to know what i mean. After 1 drive on a nice road i've brought a 1982 campaign!!!!!

dude, the golf is not the greatest car!!! The uno turbo runs rings around it!! just thought i should let u know!!

The Uno Turbos are really rapid, and would easily have a Mk1 Gti. But the Golf 1 is much more fun, a true classic. Both are quite hard to get hold of for good money. I have a Mk1 Uno and hate the rocky ride. Its like driving a 4X4!!! I would love a Mk 1 Golf. The best thing about the Uno turbo, is that you can have a nice psssht, off a dump valve. But a Supercharger conversion would be an awsome mod for the mk1.

btw there are no 1982 Campaigns, they are all 1983 and on an A plate with an EW chassis, leather s/w, tinted glass, 83 date stamped p-slots.... mk1s are the original and greatest - a tall block big valved 2L 8v with a 285 cam with a few tweaks will put out 160hp (850kg) and do a 1/4 mile in the 14s. 2.1L 16v on throttle bodies... hmmm... mk1s are damn fast, easy to mod, and much easier to work on, better made than a 205... handling's not as good as a 205 tho and not as quick as a 1.9 out of the box and modded mi16 205s are mad....

Uno? come on! 205 is the don. Respect to the Mk 1 for getting there first but the 205 rules the roost.

Dude the uno turbo is fast i'll give it that but a twin audi engined mk1 golf would literally take a wizz on it man Just thought id tell you!! By the way i jhave a golf mk1 but its only a little 1.1 but give it time it's gonna get a mk3 vr6 engine innitthe it'll be 2.8 ltr VVVRRRRROOOOMMMMMM!!!
